Remembering Charybdis

I loves to sleep in Mommy & Daddy's bed. They have flannel sheets on the bed so it is very warm and comfy.

Here is a nice action photo of me & Scylla.

I loves to play. Now where did my ball go?

I am not good at sitting still.

Thanks to all our friends

We are very touched by the lovely tributes on Charybdis' blog and we deeply treasure all the personal emails and comments that have been left. Your love and support are the only things that are enabling us to get through this sad time. While we may not be visiting or commenting for awhile we are thinking about you and reading your kind words to us. ~Alasandra, Socks, Scylla & Fenris

Sassy & Toby need a forever home

Sassy says...

Hello, my name is Sassy and this is my handsome son Toby. We are two senior Birman cats that are looking for a forever home.

Our human momma took very good care of us all of our lives until one day she tripped and broke her hip and had to go to the hospital. A very nice lady and her family took us in temporarily, while our human momma recovered. Things did not turn out as expected and she died. None of the family wants us and this nice family we've been staying with do their best to care for us, but we are confined to an office and hallway because of her daughters allergies (and I think our male host is not happy we are in his office either).

We miss the affection and human contact we were so used to. We are both very social and love to be with people. We feel so lonely and would love to find someone that would enjoy our company. We get along with other cats, but dogs scare us. We enjoy children, though toddlers forget we are seniors and not up for rough play.

We are both very healthy, spayed and neutered and front declawed, so we have to be indoor cats only. We are not picky eaters and just rather have dry food than anything else. I would be lost if my son and I could not be adopted together, we have been together 11 years and we love each other very much.

Please let us know if we can have a special Christmas in our forever home. Contact Ellie  by email.

Forever grateful
Sassy and Toby P.S. Look up about my breed (Birman), we are kind of special)

We currently live in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area

Mancat Monday ~ Socks

Being an inside cat has it's advantageous. You can nap on a warm throw.

And sharing the electric throw with Charybdis isn't so bad.

And then there is the clean laundry to lay on.
Maybe I don't mind being inside but don't tell Mommy.

Scylla Sunday

Mrs Ann made this lovely portrait for me and my boyfriend King Brian. I feels it captures our personalities purrfectly. I hope Brian likes it as much as I do. I got the portrait right before I went to bed last night and I had the most wonderful dreams about me & Brian.

I want to sleep late it's Sunday and I am having marvelous dreams about my boyfriend. Why are we getting up early? Oh, that's right the beans are remodeling the laundry room.

If we has to get up early I demands fresh nip.

I guess this nip is fresh enough, you can have a cup of coffee now Mommy.

Congrats Eldest Boy Bean

Our Eldest Boy Bean graduated from the University of South Alabama today. We are very proud of him! With MoMo's help us cats found some fashionable clothing to wear and snuck into the graduation ceremony.  We know we have been very lax on visiting all our friends but shopping for clothes, snoopervising the beans remodeling project and traveling to and from the University has worn us out we needs naps. Please forgive us, we have been thinking about you and we will come by for a visit as soon as we can.

Curved

I am looking for something CURVED, nothing here.

The door isn't CURVED but maybe the rug is CURVED, it is an oval.

Mommy says my tummy is CURVED, I don't think she knows what she is talking about.

I am tired of looking for something  CURVED, want to play Daddy?

I loves to play.
