Wildlife Wednesday

 The Geese are back on the island. Don't know if they have a nest yet, but we were thrilled to see them.

Until We Meet Again

Lady Saffron one of The Ladies of Autumn has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. You can read about her here. The pretty purple flowers we put in the picture are saffron too and we thinks Lady Saffron was just as beautiful as the flower she was named after. Her coloring is just gorgeous. Scylla hadn't had a chance to get to know Saffron well but she will be missed by all the fellow Ladies of Autumn.

 Twizzy's family also had to let him go to the Rainbow Bridge.

It is very important to pick out the correct accessories.

I thinks these purple beads will look good on me put I could use some help getting them on.

I guess I will have to go find her. Serfs are so unreliable.

Mancat Monday

 Well Thursday was REALLY nice. Me and Mom spent time outside gardening, she got all the flowerbeds around the Hummingbird Cottage weeded, fertilized and ant poison put out.  We had a lovely day. She even had time to sit in the chair and pet me.

Good thing cause Friday it poured down rain all day and there were tornadoes in the vicinity.  So I'll be waiting for the nice weather to come back before I goes out again.  ~Socks

Scylla Sunday

 I am spending the day outside with Mommy and Arty Mouse.

Arty is playing hide-n-seek and chase with me.

 Arty can run very fast, it is hard to catch her.

 She is also very good at hiding.

Now where did she go?

 She isn't hiding in the snowflakes.

 These white violets are pretty, but I don't have time to look at them now I has to find Arty.

She isn't under the Camilla bush either.

 I thinks I sees her.

 I am going to get you Arty.

Pausing so Mommy can get a good shot of me.

 Are you finished yet Mommy? I has a mouse to catch.

Arty likes to hide behind the Rosemary.

 Arty let me catch her, she is telling me about some mice we can hunt. She found them when she was hiding from me.

 We makes a good mouse hunting team.

Sweet Sagira Saturday

Part two of my post about Sagira's Valentine Day Present to me. You can read part one here.

I spent hours with my heart just mooning over it.

And making sure no one stole it.

 

It was so purrty I wanted to save it forever.

But it smelt good to, it smelt like something yummy to eat.

So I decided to lick it. I licked it for hours and hours.

Then I put it in my mouth and held it for awhile.

Mommy thought it was CUTE.

She thinks everything I do is cute.

It is OK if you wants to squee over my paws.

Mommy does it all the time.
