Tuesday Tales
And I'll have to say this for Fenris he does keep himself clean. He even manages to keep his paws from getting too muddy. Mommy says that it's a real shame when her cats are muddier then the doggie.

Warning ~ Pet rescue accused of taking money and dumping pets
Each animal was given to her along with a "drop-off" fee of $10 per cat. Authorities believe she took the money, then got rid of these 16 pets. Owners told authorities that they believed their cats would be safe, not end up at a shelter.
Of the 16 cats that went to the shelter, some were picked up by their previous owners who were contacted from the tags they still wore, one was euthanized due to illness upon arrival, some found adoptive homes, and the others scheduled for euthanasia have now been put on "hold" until the matter is sorted out.
This is despicable, we feel so bad for these poor cats. It's bad enough to be abandoned by your previous owner, but at least they cared enough about you to send you to a rescue and not a shelter where you would be euthanized. We don't blame the previous owners for feeling duped and angry. We just wishes all the cats had loving forever homes. You can read all about it here.
Tuesday Tales
Silly Sunday
When I get tired of playing ball I find sticks to play with. I think they are related to Siena & Chilli's evil twig.Feathers on Friday
Come on Mommy and Fenris, you two are very pokey.
We are going on a nature walk, you are welcome to join us. The more the merrier I always say.Ain't Life Grand
Ok Life is Grand Because
- There are lots of really pretty flowers blooming.
- We have a family that loves us.
- We have food and shelter.
- We have lots of interesting books to read.
- We have lots of friends and we love all of you.
Now to pass it on. We are going to do it the easy way we are putting all the names in our blog list (because we think all of you are GRAND) in a jar and drawing five out.
Truthful Thursday ~ Fenris does the Honest MeMe
This is my very first award. Derby the Sassy Cat gave it to me. Thanks Derby. You can read the rules here.
Now to tell you 10 things about me, Fenris.
- I weighed 13.7 lbs when I went for my checkup.
- I am around 12 weeks old.
- I drag my blanket out of the doghouse to wherever I want to sleep in the yard.
- I don't eat much, like Socks I just nibble at my food.
- I love Greenies.
- I like to go for walks with Mommy.
- I can shake hands. It's the only trick I know so far and it's the only command I follow reliably.
- I love to play.
- I like outside, there is always something to watch. I love to watch things.
- Mommy lets me sit in the butterfly chair. She can't get a picture of it though cause she is afraid to leave me in the chair by myself. She is afraid I will try to jump down and get hurt. I sit by her in the chair.

Twins on Tuesday ~ Scylla & Charybdis do the Honest MeMe
Derby the Sassy Cat gave us this pawsome award. See Socks' post below for the rules and all that.
We thought we would show you this old picture of us that was trapped on Mommy's cell phone before we get started. It's not very good quality but we thinks the picture is cute.
Scylla will go first (Oh we almost forgot. Some of our friends asked how to say our names. You say mine Sil-la).
- I weigh 11.8 pounds.
- I am 23 months old, I will be TWO in April.
- I don't like Heartguard, I spit the pills out.
- I like to be high up. The top of the jungle gym, the top of the entertainment center, on top of the refrigerator, you get the idea.
- Mommy is my person.
- I love to eat, Mommy says I have a healthy appetite.
- I like to help Mommy in the garden.
- I am destructive. I tear up toilet paper, paper towels and sacks as well as pulling stuff off hangers.
- I don't like going to the Vet.
- I am the boss cat.
Not it's Charybdis' turn (My name is pronounced Car-rib-dis).

- I weigh 10.6 pounds.
- I will be TWO in April
- I love to PLAY.
- I am a Daddy's Girl.

- When Daddy is gone I sleep in the bed with Mommy.
- Scylla can outrun me. I don't think this is fair.

We forgots something very important.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mancat Monday ~ Socks does the Honest Meme
"When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul (that would be Derby the Sassy Cat) who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog.” (We are going to break the rules and let whoever wants to play, play. We wouldn't want to harass anyone. Actually Mommy rebelled at having to type more. She insist she needs to take her sinus medicine and go to bed). Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on! "
Socks gets to go first.
- I am the oldest cat of the house now. I am eight years old.
- Sometimes I don't come when the beans call they find this very annoying.
- I have a lot of names: Kitty (My fur Mom's name was Miss Kitty after a character in Gunsmoke and youngest boy bean was going to name me after her), Socks, and Sockie~Pooh (youngest boy bean's nickname was Pooh boy when he was little cause he liked Winnie the Pooh).
- I weighed 13.2 pounds when I went for my check up in January.
- I don't like having my picture taken.
- I caught a rabbit once. It made Mommy very sad.
- I don't eat much. I just nibble at my food.
- I love raw shrimp. When Mommy is making gumbo I stay in the kitchen with her in hopes she will drop one on the floor. I don't like it once it's cooked though.
- I like lettuce.
- I love MoMo
Scylla & Charybdis will provide 10 honest things about themselves tomorrow, so stay tuned for The Twins on Tuesday.
Scylla on Sunday
But this is the best seat in the house. Except for Mom's lap of course. Silly Daddy thought he was going to play Halo. I thinks he is going to pet me.~Scylla
