Mancat Monday with Socks
I was in the chair minding my own business taking a bath when.................
I was viciously attacked by Scylla.
Fenris' Funday
Mommy is fixing to take me for a walk. She wanted to make this picture first.
Do you see the woodpecker? It is feeding it's young.
Now we has a question for you. Mommy doesn't know the name of this flower. When she was little she used to have some, the lady that gave them to her called them Monkey Faces. Mom-in-law had some at her house and she gave some to Mommy, but like Mommy she only knows them as Monkey Faces. We can't find any info about them online or in our gardening books. Do you know the real name of this flower?

We are joining Confucius Cat purring to stop hate crimes.
We also thinks some beans need to learn manners. Daddy went to a Town Hall meeting that our Representative held and the barbarians (er we means beans) behaved hatefully. They booed and hissed and generally disrupted the meeting and most of the barbarians weren't even from the Gulf Coast. They drove in, just so they could behave in a hateful manner. Their behavior made it impossible for the beans that were there to hear what our Representative had to say to hear him and they were unable to ask about any issues of interest to them, because of all the shouting of the disruptive beans who didn't even want answers to their shouts they merely wanted to disrupt the meeting. So we are adding some purrs that all those beans that are disrupting town hall meetings with their hateful behavior will stop.

Surprise
Life if full of SURPRISE(S).
This woodpecker has a SURPRISE in the willow tree. The woodpecker has made a nest in the willow tree and is feeding it's babies. We enjoyed listening to the sounds they made. Mommy was going to hook Fenris' leash up to the trailer while she took a picture of the woodpecker but she was SURPRISE(D) by this spider.
The woodpecker was a good SURPRISE, the spider was a bad SURPRISE.

Flowers on Friday
I am pretending to be a flower. This is a good strategy for catching birds and other things that like flowers.
Several people have commented about how much watering Mommy must have to do. Well lately she hasn't had to do any as it has rained every day (boo, hiss). Mommy also uses a special potting soil it's called "moisture control" potting soil and it's suppose to help with over-watering plants and lock moisture away until plants need it. It seems to be working so far.
I likes the red and yellow flowers together. Don't they look cheerful?
The bee is enjoying our buttercup.
This is as far as we are suppose to go in the front yard. Let's head to the side yard.
These are the Four O'Clocks. We bets you think we took this picture in the daytime? Ha, Ha we tricked you. Mommy discovered the night setting on her camera. Maybe she won't lose it again and she'll get some good pictures after dark.
This is the cypress vine. It still isn't climbing the bird feeder like we wanted.

Tuesday Tails with Charybdis
We bets you thought it was Mommy who did all the reading. Us cats love to read and Fenris loves to be read too.
I am letting Daddy read my book while I take a brief nap.
This is a very immodest pose of me, I hope Cliff doesn't see it. Youngest Boy Bean has my book now. I am waiting for him to get through with it.
Mommy is a Fraidy Cat
Two of these were on Mommy's lemon bush in the greenhouse when she went to water the plants in there. Being a Fraidy Cat she ran out of the greenhouse and refused to go back inside until the BRAVE DADDY weedeated and disposed of scary things........................................ Are you afraid of it??????Manley Monday
I know you were expecting Socks but he wanted the day off so I offered to do the post. Somebody commented on my blue eyes and asked if I got lots of compliments on them. I have to admit I do. Mommy has a soft spot for blue eyed fellows and she says me and Daddy have the prettiest blue eyes. My blue eyes were one of the first things she noticed about me when she saw my picture on Petfinder. If you are looking for a dog or cat to adopt take a look at all the adorable pets they have just waiting for someone to love. Some of them even have blue eyes just like me.
And speaking of blue don't these Hydrangeas match my eyes nicely? They are one of my favorite plants.
The Texas Star Hibiscus looks like it is trying to touch the sky.

Ripples by Fenris
When I drink out of the kiddie pool it makes RIPPLES in the water.

When the wind blows it makes RIPPLES in the water too.

Scylla the Gardening Cat
Would you like to go for a walk with me? This is our Texas Star Hibiscus. It gets really tall.
This is our cuphea with a yellow Mum.
Our Japanese Magnolia is confused. It is trying to bloom.
Can you see the pretty purple bloom on this plant. The pink spotted leaves camouflage it good.
Some plants have food on them. These are our blueberries, aren't they a pretty blue color when they are ripe?
See me hiding in the Butter-beans? This is a good place to hunt birds. (It is also a good place for playing chase with your siblings, but it makes the Daddy bean mad).
Yes, Mommy! She is a spoilsport.
Now during the rest of our walk you need to be very quiet.
SCYLLA!!!!!!!! Leave the bird alone!
Yes, Mommy! She is a spoilsport.
