The Whiskers MEMORIAL Butterfly Garden was created as a MEMORIAL to Whiskers. He died March 2007 of kidney failure as a result of the Petfood Recall. When Charybdis died she was buried with Whiskers in the Whiskers MEMORIAL Butterfly Garden and we placed these flowers on her grave as a MEMORIAL to Charybdis.

It is a lovely memorial! Though we must confess we misunderstood "Whiskers" the first time we read about it. We thought it was generic about kitties. We now unnerstand it is named for one kitty named "Whiskers". That makes it more special...
