Where did it go Mom?

We thoughts you would like to know more about me. My real name is Artemisia but Mommy is the only one who calls me that. There is a plant named Artemisia, a famous woman artist, and a movie about the famous woman artist Artemisia. The Youngest Boy Bean wanted to name me Artemis after the Greek Goddess of the Hunt so that is what they call me. But I has tons of nicknames. Mini Meow & Mouse are my very own nicknames that belong just to me. Daddy started calling me Little Bad cause sometimes I remind hims of Charybdis (Kitty Bad) and sometimes he calls me Baby Cow cause I follow Scylla (Kitty Cow) around and Mommy cause me Little Scylla cause I remind her of Scylla sometimes.

I likes to play, I likes it inside and seldom go outside, I sleep under the couch most of the time, and I love Socks & Scylla. I am afraid of Fenris but I loves to watch him play and I play with his toys. And yesterday when he was asleep I walked up to him and sniffed his hind paws. When he woke up I skedaddled though. ~Artemisia

Bad News

Some of you know that Mommy's camera (Canon Powershot A710 IS) got wet and we thoughts it was deaded. Who knew a camera with an underwater setting was so allergic to water. But a splash of water got on the lens and for the longest time the camera couldn't see anything. Well Daddy saved the day by taking the battery out and hanging it up to dry but now when Mommy takes pictures with it there is a big spot in some of the pictures. It doesn't do it all the time, and sometimes it is worse then others. Sometimes Mommy can crop the spot out of the pictures but other times the spot is on the subject and totally ruins the picture. So you will probably start seeing fewer pictures of us or pictures of poorer quality starting about mid April. A new camera isn't in our budget so Mommy is going to just try to learn how to make decent pictures with this one. Besides which she has just figured out how to work this one and it is the purrfect size. Mommy hates those little bitty cameras some people have. She says they are too little for her big hands. Not to mention as blind as she is she needs something big enough for her to see.

On a brighter note Daddy got Mommy this garden wagon so she can haul her heavy pots around. She really LOVES IT!

T-Shrit Review for Cafe Press

I was asked to do a T-shirt review for CafePress. The hardest part was picking out which design to get but this one seemed purrfect for me. They have lots of cute designs so you are sure to find one that is purrfect for you or for you creative types create your own. The T-shirt is 100% cotton and was very comfortable to wear. I really should have gotten Hubby to take the picture at the beginning of our day, instead of after spending the day on Dauphin Island getting hot and sweaty as you can see the T-shirt held up to the day better then I did, and I am happy to report it came out of the laundry looking great.

Little Bit, he is a full blooded Great Pyrenees. He is very old and has arthritis. It hurts him to walk.

He loves Mommy and being petted.

This is Mutt. He is a mutt like Fenris. He doesn't like Mommy, and will not let her pet him.

These pictures were taken at Grandma & Grandpa's house were Mom enjoyed the FRESH country air.

Thursday in the Garden

February 21, 2010 we knew spring was on the way when we saw the yellow bell trying to bloom. We hoped the yellow bell knew what it was talking about and warmer weather was truly on the way. The yellow bell is always the first plant to bloom in our yard.

This Camillia blooms Winter & Spring. It is just now blooming.

Now that it is March the yellow bell is really putting on a show.

Boys are Silly says Silly Scylla

(Fenris)Why can't I get to Mommy? What is in the way?

(Scylla) It is Mommy's new door silly dog.

Boys are very silly, both Socks and Fenris kept running into the doors and bonking their heads when Daddy first put them up. What happened with Socks was he wanted to go out but it was almost dark thirty and he knew the beans wouldn't let him out so he saw what he thought was an open door and ran as fast as he could and BONK. He is still scared of the door and doesn't like going in or out of it. Fenris just walked right into it. They both finally figured out there is a glass in the door but boy were they silly about it for awhile. Us girls were much smarter about it, I mean we had seen all those BIRD COMMERCIALS with the birds flying into the windows, and there was a door handle. Jeez I guess you have to hit guys in the head to get them to think. ~Scylla

A Picture Game by Scylla

My boyfriend, Brian, from Brian's Home tagged me.

Oh this is a good picture. This is me and Charybdis the first day we came to live with Mommy. We didn't even have names yet. Charybdis is looking at the camera, so you can see her pretty face. She has her foot in my face but I didn't care. We liked snuggling together. We are laying in youngest boy beans lap. He is fixing to bottle feed me and Mommy would bottle feed Charybdis, so we could both eat at the same time.
