Mancat Monday ~ Socks

When it rains I likes to spend the day in Youngest Bean's bed sleeping.

His blanket matches my furs.

Artemisia and I are trying to figure out what Daddy is doing.

He listens to some really weird music.

Now we are going to snooze in Eldest Boy's Bed.

Artemisia is good at snuggling.

She lays very still unlike certain other sisters I could mention. Artemisia also doesn't take up much room, which makes her an ideal snuggle buddy.

I is dreaming of MoMo.

Now I am going to see what Fenris is up to.

Scylla Sunday

I am enjoying the jungle gym. Would you like to come enjoy it with me?

Or we could go for a walk in the woods.

Guess I better freshen up. I wants to look my best when Brian gets here.

Maybe a quick catnap while I wait.

Brian, where are you?

Yes, Socks I am sure he is coming I bets he will drop in any second now. Brothers can be so RUDE!

Why am I on top of the refrigerator, because Fenris is on the floor of course.

No, I will not come down, and you can't make me.

Brian is here.

In that case I'll be right down.

Memorial. ~ Photo Hunt

The Whiskers MEMORIAL Butterfly Garden was created as a MEMORIAL to Whiskers. He died March 2007 of kidney failure as a result of the Petfood Recall. When Charybdis died she was buried with Whiskers in the Whiskers MEMORIAL Butterfly Garden and we placed these flowers on her grave as a MEMORIAL to Charybdis.

Fenris Friday

Look what I won!!!!!

I won it by entering The Pet Postcard Project. Every entry helps feed shelter dogs.

I named it the Orange Alien.

It is fun to fetch it bounces a lot.

Giving it some loving.

Mom enough with the pictures I wants to play.

Bet you can't get me!

Come get me, you know you want to!

Taking a rest.

Tommy, Khyra, Ciara, Thunder, Phantom, Diamond, & Asta do you think you can catch me?

Ganging up on me isn't nice.

Whew, that was close. They almost had me.

No, I won't look at the camera.

Mom says I have to go, come back and play with me soon.

Thursday in the Garden

Isn't the purple wisteria gorgeous. The bees sure do like it.

We thinks it looks really pretty with the white one.

The winter was very hard on our "special" azaleas that bloom all year long, we are relived that two of them are blooming. Still not sure the third is going to pull through.

They has very pretty blooms.

We are not sure what these bulbs are. Mom-in-law gave them to Mom and she didn't know what they were. She said they were growing at her house when she bought the place.

We planted them around our Confederate Rose and maybe they will come up next year.

The Verbena and the raised bed Daddy is building around Charybdis' grave. We sure do miss her. You can also see the Camilla blooming in the background

Some wildflowers Mommy thinks are pretty so she let them stay in the flowerbed.

Vist Jonesie to see more flowers.

Wordless Wednesday

Tsarina Tuesday

This is my royal portrait. I am a Tsarina, which is like an Empress and outranks a mere Queen. My subjects should address me as Your Imperial Highness Majesty of Unparalleled Cuteness (Thanks Tommy & Tama-Chan, Sei-Chan, Yuu-Chan and Bibi-Chan) Artemisia, Empress of Everything.  And yes, I am top cat and outrank Queen Scylla, who is only Her Royal Highness Your Majesty Scylla, Queen of La Chambre à Coucher. Be sure to remember this as I do not wish to bite anyone.

As top cat I can pretty much do whatever I wish.

And now I wishes to sleep.

Mancat Monday ~ Socks

I likes hanging out in the butterfly garden.

It is nice and cool in the shade.

Plus I am hard to see when I am in the shade, shade is good camouflage.

Mommy I am tired of having my picture made.

Safe at last, I bet she doesn't even know I am here.

Ha, she still hasn't found me.

Mommy tell them about the flowers in the tea cup.

The green & white leaves are Lamiastrum galeobdolon (aka Hermann's Pride), the yellow leaves are Lysimachia congestiflora (aka Walkabout Sunset), the green leaves are Golden Globe (it will have pretty yellow flowers and it did great last year and survived the winter and came back up), and I can't remember the name of the plant with red leaves.

Good help is hard to find, is it to much to ask that Mommy remember the names of the plants for us?

Guess I'll take a nap now.
