Tsarina Tuesday ~ Artemisia

I am hanging out in the front yard today.

I stay close to the house.

Sometimes I hide behind the flowerpots.

I found this turtle hiding behind the flowerpots too.

Our Candlebush is blooming.

ANTS NO MORE

Some of you may remember when Clean + Green sent us their products to review. You can read our original review here if your memory needs to be refreshed.

Anyway we just wanted to let you know how wonderful the Wood & Tile product is. See Mommy dropped a teeny tiny piece of food on the laminate floor in the kitchen. She didn't notice it right away because she was hurrying to get supper ready so we could eat as a family, with the boy beans in college and working she doesn't get to spend much time with them. By the time she finally noticed there was a trail of ants from the back door to the kitchen. Well after cleaning up the food she mopped with Murphy's Oil Soap but a couple of hours later the ants were back. Then she used very soapy Joy Dishwashing Liquid with the same results the ants came back a few hours later.  Then she remembered how Clean + Green was suppose to kill odors (she didn't think of it right away cause no pets were to blame for this problem). So she got the Clean + Green Wood and Tile product out and sprayed the floor and ANTS NO MORE plus the floor looked nice.

The Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner got a work out too. See Mommy switched us to Chicken Soup Dry Catfood (we are going to call the company later today and tell them about our problem). See we love the taste, in fact we gobbled it down. BUT it makes Scylla throw up and it caused Artemisia to become constipated and then when Mommy stopped feeding us the Chicken Soup and switched us back to our old catfood poor Artemisia became the opposite of constipated. She had to have a BATH cause it wasn't pretty and hours later after it had DRIED Daddy found where she went to the bathroom in their bedroom. The carpet was stained pretty bad, but Mommy sprayed the Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner on it and voila the stain was gone. Unfortunately the stink lingered for awhile but open windows and baking soda took care of that. Mommy just hopes Miss Stinky Butt doesn't have any more accidents in the house.

We will try to visit when we can as you can imagine our  help isn't in the mood to be helpful.

Mancat Monday ~ Socks

(Yawn) Good morning, I guesses you want a tour of the garden. But first Mommy says this is a good picture to show off my ginger belly floof. We wonders how many of you knew I had ginger furs on my body? My Daddy was a big Ginger Tomcat and my Mommy was a gray tabby cat named Miss Kitty (for an actress on the TV show called Gunsmoke).

Scylla Sunday

Today is a good day to spend some quality time with my sister. We are going to just relax in bed.

Don't worry I won't fall off.

We might even let Mommy share the bed with us.

Artemisia is very good at relaxing.

Framed

Some bad kitty got in the CATNIP, we has photographic evidence proving it was Scylla but she insist she was FRAMED.

What do you think? Did Scylla get in the CATNIP? Did she have an Accomplice?

(The Mom: Girls GET OFF THE TABLE. You know you aren't suppose to be on the table!!!)

Us Cats are doing the Q today

WE finally got our inadequate help to post our pictures. Drop by Do the Q to see all the cats and assorted other animals doing the Q and if you haven't already add your picture too.

Femme Friday

Don't worry Fenris is around here somewhere.

These Asters are growing wild. I am not sure what kind they are.

Scylla is keeping an eye on Fenris from the roof of the jungle gym.

She will warn me if he is headed this way. Not that I am afraid of him or anything, but he is BIG.

Scafflaw Week ~ Scylla

The hostess for Scafflaw Week is our dear friend Fin over at Housecat Confidential. I didn't break any rules on day one so we figured Day 2 would be all mine. First off when we were rounded up to go sleep in the garage I hid under Mom & Dad's bed. Now the parents would let us sleep inside EXCEPT for ME. Yep, I am the whole reason everybody gets booted in the garage. First off at some ungodly hour I jumped up on Mom's side of the bed to be petted. I had to wake her up first. She petted me for a bit then tried to go back to sleep but by then I wanted to PLAY and Artemisia was out in the garage so that meant I had to wake Mommy up to play with me. I wanted to play THoE, but Mommy wasn't very happy about it, in fact she was down right grumpy. Then I hid under the bed again so I didn't get booted out. Well Mommy had just started to drift back to sleep when I started meowing under the bed. This time I managed to get Daddy up too, unfortunately I got thrown out in the garage this time so they got to sleep in peace for awhile. Not long cause Daddy has to get up at 4AM for work. Sorry we don't have any pictures as my photographer was more intent on getting back to sleep then recording my spectacular rule breaking.

We will try to visit as many of our friends as we can. Youngest boy bean took his laptop to college with him so we couldn't use it till he came home. Also Mommy cut her finger when trying to slice a honeydew from the garden and is finding it heart to type with a band-aid on her thumb.

Since we couldn't blog we had a chance to read this great magazine we won from the Pet Postcard Project. We read about this great rescue called Pilots N Paws. Although we don't understand why Edmonton (Mom says that is in Canada) has such a shortage of dogs we think it's great that rescuers can fly dogs from the U.S. to Edmonton where they are in HIGH demand.  Pilots N Paws is doing a rescue in our area, you can read about it at ThoughtsFurPaws blog post.

Mommy is also reading this book we really like. It's called The Search by Nora Roberts. We love this quote "Properly trained, a man can be a dog's best friend." ~Corey Ford. Anyway the heroine of the book trains doggies and her and her dogs also work in Search and Rescue. We loves it when Mommy reads books with animals in them. Gotta run it's dinner time. ~Scylla

Thursday in the Garden with Scylla & Artemisia

Gardening cats have to get plenty of rest.

We are getting a late start with our gardening duties as we are sleeping in.

Artemisia: Scylla it is time to get up now our friends are here and they are ready to tour the garden. Scylla!!! Oh bother, I'll show you the garden without her. She can stay in and help Mommy with the laundry.

Do you see the blue dragonfly? Me and Fenris like to chase them.

The other evening there must have been a hundred of them in our yard (I may be exaggerating a little. There were too many to count).

Our zinnias. Mommy grew them from seed and if you ask me they DO NOT look like the picture on the package. They are still pretty though.

They are growing in the Cottage Garden.

I can't wait for you to see it. It has a roof on it now. We are still waiting on Daddy to get the trellises up.

Please drop by Jonesie's and see what's up in here garden and visit our other gardening friends.

Scafflaw Week ~ Day one for AFSS

Mommy says she hopes it is the last day we participate. The hostess for Scafflaw Week is our dear friend Fin over at Housecat Confidential.  We don't have any pictures of our kitty misdeeds as the photographer was too grossed out/busy cleaning up to take any.

Socks started things off with projectile vomiting, all over the study. He broke the unwritten rule no throwing up in a room with carpet. We kitties are pretty good about getting on the laminated floor to hack up our furballs. Of course no furball hacking was involved in this activity. Socks spewed vomit all over the chair he was sitting in, the kitty cube (the blue one Thank Cat), the carpet and Daddy's motorcycle boots. Mommy's fault of course she gave him MILK.

Artemisia peed in the study, and the rest of us cats are kinda hissed off at her cause she peed on the Catnip Mat. She only got a little bit on the carpet but she FLOODED our Catnip Mat. Mommy says the lining soaked the pee up nicely before it got in the carpet. This is Daddy's fault cause she was meowing to be let in the garage and he IGNORED HER.

Unidentified Cat, pooped on youngest boy bean's bed. Mommy says at least she can throw the comforter in the washing machine. Well really everybody had runned off somewhere and there was no one available to open doors for the poor unidentified cat. But  Mommy  is really tired of cleaning up after us beast, and has a suggestion for Fin.

Alasandra: Fin dear, next time you have an activity for kitties to participate in could it be WELL BEHAVED KITTY WEEK?  I would REALLY appreciate your considering it. You are such a gorgeous kitty, I know you never intended me to spend my day cleaning up cat vomit, poop and pee.

Our Wordless Wednesday post is under this one.

Tsarina Tuesday ~ Artemisia

I love hanging out in the Whiskers' Memorial Butterfly Garden.

I like drinking out of the fountain.

Investigating to find new stuff.

And playing with the plants.
