We love Nerdy Shirts

 Nerdy Shirts.com asked us to do a review for them and we said SURE. First we had to pick a shirt out, they had lots of funny ones to choose from. We wanted to get Check Meowt  for our Mommy because it had a cat on it but they didn't have it in stock. So we got the Three Wolf Moon Funny T Shirt  for Youngest Boy Bean, since it has wolves on it and they are kinda like doggies. It came the very next day after we sent the email, so we has to give them 4 paws up for speedy delivery. Mommy washed and dried it and she said it did good in the washer and dryer it didn't shrink or bleed or anything, so that is another 4 paws. And best of all Youngest Boy Bean liked it!!!!!!!!

He modeled it for us the day he moved into college. It fits him nicely and looks good on him. So what are you waiting for go get your own Nerdy Shirt.

Mancat Monday

 This is what we got Daddy for Christmas. We got it at CSN Stores. Daddy never put it together, so we meowed Mommy into it. She was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to put together. The directions were easy to understand and she didn't have any trouble with it.

We likes the pretty roses around it and the bird perched on the side. Now I am going to help Mommy find the purrfect spot for it outside. ~Socks

Scylla Sunday

I have been a very good girl and haven't been using the living room as a litter box. Mommy is happy with me. I am looking through some old stuff Mommy has in here. There are toys the boys had when they were little and letters and even some of Mommy's purrty dresses.  Mommy said I have to come out now so she can close the lid, she found what she was looking for. ~Scylla

Getting ready for the pawm by Arty

I isn't showing you any pictures so you can be surprised about how good we all look on the big day. But boy are pawms lots of work for us girls. First I took pity on my brother Fenris. He doesn't have a girlfriend to take him in paw and dress him properly so I had to do it. I summoned Prince Casper to my side and the three of us went shopping.  My prince has impeccable taste so we found him a tux right away. Fenris needed a little more guidance with his selection, but he looks very debonair now if I do say so myself. But oh my didn't we have a time trying to find a tux to fits his huge self. I wanted a blue vest to go with his eyes, but they didn't have one in his size so we had to settle for a dark red one. He has kinda reddish furs, so it looks good on him   OK, I will show you a picture of Fenris, who knows some girl doggie may be overwhelmed by his handsomeness and make a play for him at the  pawm. He is going stag girls, so all you unattached girl doggies here is your chance to make a move on him.

Some of the girls have dance cards and he already has his name on some of them, so you might want to ask him for a dance now, if you don't want to be left out. I thinks I did an excellent job dressing him if I do say so myself. He cleans up pretty good for a dawg and he dances divinely. I have been teaching him ballroom dancing.

Then of course I had to find myself something to wear. This is the first fancy event I has been too so I didn't have a thing in my closet. Scylla, MoMo and I have of course made arrangements for facials, manicures, pedicures and hair styling before the big event. I thinks I am even going to get a massage after all the hard work I did getting everyone ready I deserves it.  ~Artemisia

Fenris Friday

I am plumb worn out from Wyatt's County Fair. I has to rest up for the Blogville Back to School Bash Sept. 3,4, & 5th. see Frankie @ Frankly Speaking for more details. Cats are welcome and their safety has been guaranteed by Sarge. I promise not to chase cats other then Scylla. She is so retarded I can't help but chase her. I mean she considers it chasing if I so much as roll over, is that fair?

Thursday in the Garden

 MEOW: I am making this weeks Society of Feline Gardeners  report. I take care of the garden by keeping the birds out of it. I am protecting the muscadines today.

I also digs in the mulch to make sure the plants can get enough oxgen. That is very important. Looks like we are going to have a good crop of muscadines this year. Pity no one here likes them.

Beignet

We barely had a chance to get to know Beignet before he ran off to the Rainbow Bridge. He was only 11 weeks old.  His Mom Paula and littermate sister Truffle could use some purrs. They purr at Sweet Purfections.

Troublesome Tuesday & Cat Talk Time

Scylla is in TROUBLE, she has been peeing and pooping in the house. She found this corner in the family room that is kinda unused. It is behind Daddy's humongous speakers, and isn't very noticeable from the rest of the room. About the only time anyone ever goes over there is IF they go out or in the back door. That back door isn't used much cause it is right next to the back door that goes into the Utility Room. The Beans use the Utility Room back door, more then the Family Room back door. Anyway Mommy & Daddy are mad at her and want her to stop using the Family Room as a litterbox. We don't know why she is doing it. She has gotten where she doesn't want to go outside, not even out in the garage.  It isn't a Urinary Tract Infection  Mommy took her to the vet to make sure.  The beans got a Rug Doctor and shampooed that area thoroughly, but after they did it she still went over there to pee. Mommy got a Bissell  and has cleaned it good again, she also got a Citrus Scented Glade Automatic Spray thingy in hopes of keeping us all out of that corner. So far that seems to be working but it is giving Mommy sinus problems. We also got a brand new litter box, so now there are four litter boxes plus outside for us to use.

We aren't extremely clever kitties so it was hard for us to come up with words that were uniquely our own. We mostly try to use the humans words.

PigMouse

I is a PigMouse because I eat so much and am so tiny. 

When we are angry we gets hissy and Fen gets growly.  Me and Fen swarm over each other, and do the ArtFen Dance. Mommy says Fenris probably smells like ME cause I rubs myself all over him.

Farewell Dear Friend

Fenris Friday

 When Mommy takes me walking on the beach we sees this bird.

 Walking is very hot and thirsty work. They has water fountains for us to stop at and Mommy has ice water for me in the car.

 Sometimes we walks under the bridge. Mommy's friend is trying to trick me, I don't thinks she has any dog treats. We are training her for when she gets her own dog. I thinks I has her about trained.

Mommy's friend knows sit and stay, so I thinks we can start walking again now. Mommy are you finished taking pictures? we are ready to resume walking. ~Fenris

 Everyone thank you for the birthday wishes. Mommy forgot about it, she went looked on her calendar and there it is plain as day Socks' 11th Birthday. We has lots to celebrate today as not only is it my birthday but Daddy is coming home today from New Jersey. The boy beans are also getting ready to go off to college, the youngest will be moving into his dorm room tomorrow. Eldest has already moved his stuff back into his dorm room.  Their collage is close enough that they can come home on weekends, so I won't miss them too much. Anyway we are going to take things easy today and just enjoy being with each other. Mommy said she will give me a party later. ~Socks

Thusday in the Garden

 Our Wishbone flowers came back from seeds.

 The Buttercup reseeds itself too.

 The Katie Ruellia is blooming up a storm.

 The Asters are fixing to bloom.

The Sniffie Roses are in full bloom. See the hanging baskets these are the ones our Grandpa Wayne made for us. One of them got broke. The wood split right at the top where they hangs up.  And See how well the roses have done. They have already reached the roof of the Hummingbird Cottage.

Whiskers Wednesday

Whiskers always looked very dramatic with his white whiskers against his black furs. We miss our handsome tuxie boy with extra toes. One of the nicknames Mommy had for him wss Catfish.

Tsarina Tuesday

I love being outside with Mommy. I enjoy all the flowers so Mommy made this collage of me with my favorite flowers. I am very sad the Butterfly Bush is gone now. When we started getting the torrential downpours it drowned. Mommy has dug it up and stuck it in a pot in hopes it will recuperate, but we don't have much hope as all the leaves are brown. ~Arty Mouse

 I am taking it easy and spending time with Youngest Boy Bean before he heads off to college. I miss him when he is gone.
