Gather ~ Photohunt

GATHER ye rosebuds while ye may,
  Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to-day
  To-morrow will be dying.

You can read the rest of the poem here.

Wishing everyone a Happy & Safe New Year!!!!!!

Fenris Friday

Socks and I are sharing some guy time in the study. He is teaching me how to be STILL!!!!

I would rather learn how to climb trees or something. ~Fenris

PS: While Mommy still doesn't  know what was wrong with my leg Christmas morning (I isn't saying how I hurt it) it was better by that night and hasn't given me any further problems.  I wants to thank all my friends for their concern and caring, I just knows your purrs, positive vibes and crossed paws helped it heal super fast.

Thursday Not in the Garden

Mommy hasn't had a chance to take any pictures outside so we thought we would show you our tree.

 The Angel Whiskers Ornament.

The Blue Egg Daddy got from Sandy Eggo.

 The Angel Charybdis Ornament.

Eldest Boy Bean made the Christmas Tree Ornament and Mommy made the Heart.

Youngest Boy Bean made the green Star Ornament (it has a little orange on it).

The Angel is suppose to be on top of the tree, but she is too heavy for it, so she is on top of the entertainment center instead. We hopes you enjoyed seeing our tree. Mommy get out of the picture and come feeds us, we are hungry. Drop by Jonesie's and you might even get to see some cats in their gardens, we are sure some of our friends got reliable STAFF for Christmas. Mommy is our foods ready (sigh) Scylla we wishes you weren't so naughty maybe Santa Paws would have brought us some reliable STAFF.  ~AFSS

(Scylla) I wasn't the ONLY naughty one!!!!!!!

Rest in Peace BB

BB from Marg's Pets has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We know Marg misses BB very much as they shared 10 years together as best friends.

Wordy Wednesday by Arty Mouse

I is having fun bunny kicking my toy.

We has been remiss in telling you about a terrific present we WON!!!!! From Cats of Wildcat Woods, way back on November 22nd. We had a good reason though, see we just knew it would be the very best Christmas present for our Daddy and we wanted it to be a surprise.

We won The Awkward Family Pet Photos book. Much better to having him get a chuckle from other cats, dogs and assorted other animals in photos then have the Mom taking awkward photos of US.

He couldn't wait to read it.

Socks watched the festivities to make sure they didn't get out of hand.

He closely monitored the unwrapping of the presents.

And when the beans appeared to be bored he livened things up by playing whap the bag.

I eventually came to lend a paw. Whap the bag is best played with two or more cats. ~Arty Mouse

Tsarina Tuesday

I is playing with my brother Socks. We are having lots of fun with the paper bag.

We also likes to chase each other.

I bet you can't find me in all the mess Mommy made.

 I am hiding from Socks.

Rats!!!! He found me. Now I am going to sneak up on him.

Are you in the paper bag Socks?

MOL, I took the paper bag away from him.

Mancat Monday & Fenris Update

I is spending the day in bed with my sister Scylla. Mommy says we are lazy.

Scylla really knows how to relax.

Mommy loves my spotted belly furs. I really knows how to relax too.

Scylla can't get enough of the electric blanket.

I on the other hand purrfur the flannel sheets.

You know Scylla is awful sweet when she is asleep. Who would guess she is such a demanding critter when she is awake. ~Socks

Fenris is walking on his leg normally and can stand on it today. Mommy had him stand on his hind legs to make sure. Everyone thanks so much for your healing purrs, positive vibes and crossed paws they really HELPED a bunch.

Purrs Please

Fenris has hurt one of his hind legs. We don't know how. There is no open wound/swelling but he is limping on it.  It'll be at least tomorrow before he can go to the vet so we are asking for healing and comforting purrs. And paws crossed the vet is open tomorrow if he needs to go.

Merry Chirstmas

You can see all the cards we got here. We also assembled a movie of our cards, our apologies for any mistakes our human made.

We are wishing everyone a Joyful Holiday and will return to our regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow and will comment as much as we can. The Mom is sick and is getting way behind on housework with having to chauffeur Youngest Boy Bean around and stuffs, so we may not get to visit much for awhile but we will be thinking about you and will visit as soon as we can. ~AFSS

PS: Today is Artemisia's Gotcha Day, she has been meowing all morning to remind us. Mommy says if she is feeling better we will have a party later in the week to celebrate.

Fenris Friday ~ The Winner is................

I wish I could give a voucher to all my pals, but Mommy says we has to pick just one.  So we went to Random.org and used their List Organizer. We listed all the names. If you left a link to Twitter or Facebook you got an extra entry for that so we put (Name Comment/ Name Twitter/Name Facebook). It assigned each name a number. So then we used the Random Number Generator to pick a number. The winner is......................................

Sagira of Sagira's Agility Adventures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please send us your contact info so we can pass it on to Eukanuba, and you can start enjoying a bag of their very tasty dog food.

Thursday in the Garden

Our Yellow Bell (forsythia) is confused. It isn't suppose to bloom until SPRING, but look it has blooms on it NOW and it is early winter. Mommy says our weather has confused it. See this FALL it got really cold. Jack Frost came to visit and Mommy had to wear sweaters and coats and everything then it warmed back up to the 70s and some of our plants that are suppose to sleep all winter started blooming.

The Curry is thriving in the Herb Bed.

And these nice red berries growing wild have put us in  a Holiday Mood.

With Socks' help the beans even put up our TREE.

Arty Supervised from a safe distance.

 Scylla checked the lights out.

She is happy to report they all seem be in working order.

Now we are headed over to Jonesie's' to make our Gardening Report to The Society of Feline Gardeners.
